Now the latest buzz is that Veteran actors Usha Nadkarni and Ravi Khanvilkar have been roped in to play important characters in the web show.
Usha Nadkarni, is an Indian television and Bollywood, Marathi actress who is best known for her role of Savita Deshmukh in the popular show Pavitra Rishta, for which she was nominated in Zee Rishtey Awards as "Best Evil Mother-In-Law". She also went on to become a contestant on the Marathi version of Bigg Boss in 2018. The veteran actress will be essaying a performance-based role and her theatre background is going to create wonders on the show.
Ravi Khanvilkar is a film and television actor who is known for his impeccable performances in Bollywood films like Taare Zameen Par, Delhi Belly, and Raid. The actor is said to essay a pivotal character in the web series.
Acclaimed writer Anirudh Pathak will be presenting the series on the life of Adi Shankaracharya who was an Indian philosopher and theologian who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta. Anirudh has penned scripts for many popular TV shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Siya Ke Ram, and Mahakumbh. He added another feather to his cap by turning producer. He has produced popular and big-budget shows such as Prithvi Vallabh on Sony TV, Chandrashekhar on Star Bharat, and Dastaan-E- Mohabbat Salim Anarkali on Colors under his banner Writer's Galaxy Studios.
The series is slated to launch on one of the leading OTT platforms Hotstar.
