THIS is what Mohammad Nazim did for his role Gopi Kaka in Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2

MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 has hit the small screens just a few days back and it is doing wonders. The show has managed to grab the attention of the viewers ever since the beginning.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee is back with a bang with the season along with Rupal Patel, Swati Shah, Vandana Vithlanee, and Mohammad Nazim among others who are reprising their roles from season one.

The viewers were thrilled to know about Nazim playing the double role of Jaggi and Gopi kaka on the show.

Nazim's entry as Jaggi and Gopi kaka has already been shown and got a great response from the fans.

While Jaggi is shown as a happy-go-lucky guy, Gopi kaka is completely opposite. He is shown as a wrestler.

In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Nazim opened up about how he prepped for Gopi kaka's character.

Nazim said, "When I came to know that I'm going to play a wrestler who wrestles in an akhada, I got extremely excited. However, I did face some problems as the gyms were closed at that time due to pandemic."

The actor added. "I had to gain around 7 to 8kgs weight for this role. I had lots of milk, gulab jamuns, bananas, much more. I used to have 6 to 7 meals a day, I used to drink 5 to 6 liters water regularly."

Well, it wasn't that easy for Nazim to gain that kind of physique for the role of Gopi kaka but he got through and simply nailed it.
