MUMBAI: Vijay Raaz was arrested on November 2, for allegedly molesting a female crew member. News agency ANI had confirmed the same on Twitter, “Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested from Gondia yesterday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered: Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia.”

According to Mumbai Mirror, Vijay Raaz was taken to Ramnagar Police Station and has been reportedly granted bail. The actor was apparently shooting for 'Sherni', which features Vidya Balan in the lead role. Post Vijay's arrest on Monday night, the shoot of this movie has been stopped.
Vijay Raaz has featured in over 50 Bollywood films and is popularly known for his act in films like 'Welcome', 'Delhi Belly', 'Dedh Ishqiya', 'Mumbai Xpress', 'Bombay To Goa', 'Company' and 'Monsoon Wedding' to name a few. Vijay Raaz had marked his directorial debut with 2014 release - 'Kya Dilli Kya Lahore'. He will also reportedly feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', which stars Alia Bhatt in the title role.
