Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2: Rupal Patel says Kokila will not return to the show

MUMBAI: Currently, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 is one of the most popular shows. The show will see one of its members bidding adieu to the audience. She is none other than Rupal Patel who plays the role of Kokila on the show.

The actress will shoot her last scene on November 7.

When season 2 of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya launched, fans were super excited to see their Kokila back on TV. Now, this development has broken the hearts of the ardent fans of Kokila.

Rupal Patel confirmed the news and spoke about her experience of playing Kokila again in a chat with Saas, Bahu Aur Betiyaan. "Koki's character will soon come to an end on Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. I am really happy that people have given a lot of love to Koki in both Season 1 and 2. My journey on the show is ending and I am very thankful to my fans for their love and support,” said the actress.

When asked if Kokila will return to Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Rupal Patel said, "Koki's character has made a permanent exit from the show and she won't be returning but Rupal Patel will surely be back on the small screen."

"Playing Koki again was a very nice experience for me. I was fortunate that after playing the character for eight years, I got a chance to play it again. Since the beginning, it was fixed that I will be on the show for a month. Since I knew this, I enjoyed playing Koki to the fullest on the show,” she added.
