MUMBAI: Varun Dhawan starrer Coolie No. 1 is one of the much-awaited movies of 2020. The movie is being directed by his father David Dhawan and it marks the 45th Film of the director. It stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Varun while the supporting cast includes talents like Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Javed Jaffrey.

The movie was the talk of the town ever since it was announced. Fans all over were waiting to see another piece of work by comedy king David Dhawan, but the year 2020 gave a reality check to everyone. Post the Nepotism debate and social media war over the demand for late actor SSR’s justice, fans declared that they want to see the real talents and not the star kids. The fans all over were asking to boycott the movie Coolie No. 1 even before the trailer was out amid nepotism debate.

Today, the team has released the trailer and it seems the fans are unhappy with its packaging, keeping the SSR debate aside. The fans have not liked the trailer for their own reasons.

Some fans are of the opinion that no one can match what Govinda did in 1995 whereas others are saying that this movie looks like the spoof version of the original.
