It was earlier seen that Karan misses Preeta when she goes to Sarla's house.
Karan wanted Preeta back home soon.
When Preeta returns home she finds Karan sleeping.
Karan becomes happy to see Preeta back home so soon.
A happy Karan asks Preeta to sleep with him on the same bed.

Karan further states that he wants to hold his wife's hand and fall asleep.
Preeta does not allow this and gets angry instead.
