MUMBAI: Rajesh Shringarpure is a well-known personality of the Hindi and Marath TV industry. The actor has been a part of the showbiz world for many years now and delivered several hit TV shows.
The actor is now all set to be back on the small screens with Sony TV's show Punyashlok Ahilyabai. Rajesh is playing the lead role of Malhar Rao Holkar on the show.
The actor is a Maharashtrian in real life and is now set to play a Marathi character on-screen.

When asked Rajesh if it was difficult or easy for him to portray the role, Rajesh said, "It was neither easy nor difficult for him."
The actor further added, "Malhar Rao Holkar is very close to my land. I was always looking forward to playing such a prestigious character and I am glad I've got this opportunity."
The actor also revealed how he had started prepping for his role during the lockdown itself.
Rajesh had grown his beard during the lockdown which was also a co-incidence which was one of the reasons he bagged the role.
Punyashlok Ahilya is all set to hit the small screens from today at 7.30 pm on Sony TV.
