Guess what Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye star, Gracy Goswami is addicted to? None other than ludo!

MUMBAI: We all were addicted to playing a lot of games in the lockdown period. Playing cards and board games at family nights and having intense Ludo tournaments at the comfort of our homes. Ludo is a compelling game which leaves many hooked to it and so was our protagonist of Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, Gracy Goswami.

The actress who will be essaying the role of Amrit in the show, has confessed that she even plays Ludo with her co-stars during the breaks and between the takes to keep them entertained throughout. A simple girl from pre-partitiok Lahore, Amrit is the girl who will dare to dream and aspire to make them reality. Set in 1947, Lahore, pre-partition India, Kyun Uthe Dil Chod Aaye narrates the story of three young girls - Amrit, Vashma and Radha. This story brings forth their dreams, hope, aspirations and new found love... all this at the brink of Independence. While the beauty of pre-independence Lahore, has been captured perfectly on the set, the actors have already soaked in the era and try to up their entertainment quotients during the breaks. Gracy Goswami who loves playing ludo, has hooked her co-stars to it too.

Talking about her favourite game, Gracy says, “Ludo is the one game which has hooked me on to it. During lockdown me and my friends or cousins used to play it only while at the comfort of our own homes and used to have screaming matches if someone’s goti was cut. Even on the sets of Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, we all have become like family and we mostly eat our lunches together and spend most of our time together. But its between the takes and during breaks that it becomes a little dull for me so I play ludo with the person who is not giving their take. We play it in our make up rooms so nobody gets disturbed with all the screaming when someone is winning or losing.”

Though they did not know what’s coming their way, the three girls will try to pave their way. Knowing that tomorrow will be different, the three girls will set out to conquer love and will stand the test of time across borders.
