MUMBAI: Indian TV shows are filled with emotions, drama, memorable moments and iconic characters. Whether its the main character or supporting one, some characters remain close to an actor's heart. There are times when a role becomes one's favourite is because you can connect to it or because it challenges you to do your best. Recently, popular Actress, Pooja Singh gets candid and shares that her character as Divya Kothari from Dangal TV's Aye Mere Humsafar is a life-changing role of her career.
Sharing more about this, Pooja says, "Divya is a unique character. She is like a chameleon, depending on the situation she chooses a side which will benefit her and drags her husband along with her. Unlike my other roles, here there is a lot of comedy, and mirchi masala. Divya has a sentimental, chatpati personality, she loves to be up-to-date with the latest trends be it makeup, jewellery, Jaipuri sarees and so on. I love the way the look of the character is presented from her dressing, styling to her manner of speaking. I get a chance to do different and amusing things while playing Divya. While my previous roles included a lot of crying scenes; here I make others cry (Laughs). I am thankful to the producers for giving me the best and life-changing role of my life."
Pooja also appreciates the love audience has shown for her character Divya and the show and hopes that the show reaches another 100 episodes.
