MUMBAI: Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away today (February 9).
Rajiv’s sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to confirm the news. Sharing a photo of the actor, Neetu wrote, “RIP .”

Rajiv Kapoor was 58 years old. As per reports, the actor suffered a massive heart attack, following which Randhir Kapoor rushed him to Inlaks Hospital, which was the closest medical facility available in Chembur. The doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The actor who made his acting debut with movie his debut in Ek Jaan Hain Hum in 1983 was also known for movies like Mera Saathi (1985), Zabardast (1985), Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985), Hum To Chale Pardes (1988), and a few others.
Well indeed this is great loss to the industry. Condolences to the family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
