Mitaali Nag on playing Devyani in GHKKPM: There are times when I am sure how I am going with my role

Mitaali Nag gets candid about her role Devyani in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein.

MUMBAI: Mitaali Nag is currently seen as Devyani Chavan in Star Plus's popular show Ghum Hai Kiskey Pyaar Mein. 

The actress plays a pivotal role in the show where she is seen as a girl who has lost her mental stability and the mystery behind it is yet to be unfolded.

Well, Devyani's past has been slowly being shown where the viewers saw how she had a past with Pulkit. The role is being played by Yash Pandit.

Sai has now come to know that there is some connection between Pulkit and Devyani. In fact, Pulkit will finally confess that Devyani is his wife. However, what led to their separation and how come Devyani is in this state is still a mystery. 

Sai has now decided to reunite Pulkit and Devyani. The viewers have seen how Devyani always mentions about her husband and keeps waiting for him. 

Well, we all know that Mitaali Nag who plays Devyani's role is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. 

While it is not easy to portray a mentally ill woman's character but Mitaali is surely entertaining us with her brilliant performance with her acing chops. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Mitaali got candid about taking up such a challenging character and how she got into her role.

Mitaali said, ''The main reason I took up the role was because the makers were looking for a performer and they considered me one. I accepted the role by the way I was briefed for this role.''

The actress further said, ''I did a little bit of research from my side before I started shooting for it. I depend on the creative people and we take each other's suggestion. Generally, we are on the same page.''

Calling it a team effort that makes her character a successful on-screen, Mitaali said, ''As an actors, we have the sensibility of how to portray ourselves on the camera. There are times when I am not sure if I am doing a particular thing right or wrong. I always ask my director. There's a reason the director is called the captain of the ship.''

Mitaali further added, ''I always ask the creative team about my character and thankfully, they were always satisfied with my work.''

Well, Mitaali has been giving her heart and soul to the role and her efforts are definitely paying off.
