MUMBAI: Singing reality show Indian Idol 12 has been going strong as soon as it went on air.
Judges Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani along with host Aditya Narayan have managed to keep the audiences entertained for some time now. The contestants too have managed to woo the audiences with their singing.
However, a recent buzz suggested that the show may go off-air. The channel announced that the fourth instalment of Super Dancer 4 will take up the 8 pm slot, which was dedicated to Indian Idol 12.
From 27th March, Super Dancer 4 will air at 8 pm and this led to the rumours that Indian Idol 12 is going off-air. Putting the record straight, Himesh Reshammiya unsolved the mystery. He stated that Indian Idol 12 is moving up to the 9.30 pm slot.
He quoted, "While Indian Idol makes way for the ultimate kids dance reality show Super Dancer, our musical journey will continue with our viewers at a new time. The talent on Indian Idol that you have witnessed and rooted for remains the same, your host and the judges remain the same and we all will be ready to welcome our viewers every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television starting March 27. Happy Holi to all in advance and let the festivities begin.".
Apart from the judges, contestants and the host, Indian Idol 12 sees many special guests making an appearance. Recently, 'Dream Girl' Hema Malini appeared on the show.
