Gangs of Wasseypur fame Aditya Kumar joins MX Player’s Raktanchal season 2

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has been on the forefront reporting exclusively about MX Player’s popular crime-drama Raktanchal which is soon returning with a second season. 

Raktanchal is a series about the game of power, politics and war between two gangs. The show stars Nikitin Dheer, Kranti Prakash Jha, Soundarya Sharma, Ronjini Chakraborty, Chittaranjan Tripathy, Pramod Pathak, and Vikram Kochhar.

Raktanchal is written by Sanjeev K Rajat, Sarvesh Upadhyay, and Shashak Rai and produced by Pradeep Gupta, Shashank Raai, Mahima Gupta under the banner of Pinaka Studios Pvt Ltd and Mahima Productions.

TellyChakkar already broke the news about Bollywood actors namely Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahie Gill and Mukesh Bhatt joining the cast for the second season.

Now, the latest we hear is that actor Aditya Kumar, who shot to fame with the role of Perpendicular in Gangs of Wasseypur 2 and also played Jahanvi Kapoor’s brother in Dhadak, has been roped in for the second season.

The story of the show Raktanchal is based on real-life rivalry between two gangs in Purvanchal. The show is set in the 80's and Waseem Khan and Vijay Singh are two mafias who are trying to conquer over the other’s area and ultimately over the entire Purvanchal. The show is about the game of power, politics and bloodshed in the process.
