MUMBAI: Colors shows have been extremely entertaining.
The channel has been consistent in providing entertainment in the form of fiction and non-fiction shows. The channel among the many shows airs Choti Sardarrni and Udaariyaan. While Choti Sardarrni has been airing for quite some time now, Udaariyaan has just launched and soon, the shows will have a mahasangam episode.
Choti Sardarrni is about how after learning about Meher's pregnancy, her politically ambitious mother, Kulwant Kaur, gets her lover killed and forces her to marry Sarabjeet, a well-connected widower with a five-year-old son. The show has recently taken a leap and the current drama revolves around Meher’s death and Karan and Sarab coping up with the news. Udaariyaan, on the other hand narrates a tale about Jasmine, who lives in a small village in Punjab, dreams of flying to Canada and leading a rosy life there. She is unaware that Fateh is crazily in love with her and wants to help fulfil her dreams.
The shows will soon have an integration and it will be interesting to see the drama and twist they bring in the shows.
Produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, Udaariyan stars Isha Malviya, Priyanka Choudhary and Ankit Gupta. The show was inspired by the Punjabi film Surkhi Bindi. Choti Sardarrni, on the other hand, stars Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Avinesh Rekhi, Kevina Tak, Aekam Binjwa, and Gaurika Sharma. It is produced by Cockcrow Shaika Entertainment.
