Reena returns to Woh Rehne Wali..

Television is a medium that’s filled with glorious uncertainties. Five months after she quit Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki , Reena Kapoor is coming back into the show that made her a household name. Reena’s return brings a sad end for rookie actor Neha Janpandit, who had stepped in as Rani after the incumbent Reena had quit. Reena had earlier quit the show because she wasn’t comfortable with the generational leap which would have made her look older than her age.

Confirming the news, producer Kavita Barjatya says, “This is Reena’s show. We were receiving lots of fan mails to bring Reena back. She’s always been like family. The original Rani of our mahal (palace) is back. “ As for Neha Janpandit, Kavita writes, “There were certain issues with Neha which couldn’t be solved. So, we asked her to leave. But we parted on a mutual note.” Seconding Kavita’s claim, Neha Janpandit says, “There were never any issues from my side. It was a creative decision. This decision was taken way back in October. I left on a good note and I have no grudge against Kavitaji or anybody. She’s assured me of a new and better role in the near future.” Reena Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
