MUMBAI: Many artists become a part of showbiz to make a career for themselves by showcasing their acting talent. While some succeed, some fail to complete the journey for various reasons. Whether it was because of their bad luck or their bad acting, or rather their death, these actors were not able to establish their careers in the television industry. The death of some of these stars shook the audiences and is still mourned by the fans. Take a look.
Nafisa Joseph: Nafisa Joseph, who was one of the most stunning actresses of all time, started her career at the tender age of 12. The Femina Miss India Universe 1997 could have earned more name and fame in the industry, but she ended up losing hopes in life and hanged herself. The actress was even signed for a lead role in the popular sitcom Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin as Mallika Seth. However, after shooting its pilot episode, the actress was later replaced by the makers.
Kushal Punjabi: The reality game show Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout winner Kushal Punjabi was one of the handsome hunks of the Indian television world. Apart from starring in various Hindi daily soaps and reality shows, the actor had starred in various Bollywood movies as well such as, Lakshya, Salaam-e-Ishq, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. While the actor could have bagged more fame and popularity, his career marked a stop since he left the world at the age of 42 in 2019.

Sanjeet Bedi: The actor became a significant part of the popular show Sanjeevani back in 2002. Not only this, he went on to star in various other popular shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Jaane Kya Baat Hui Aahat, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, among others. While this actor was on the verge of reaching success, he left everyone in a shock with his demise. The actor left the world in 2015 after failing to emerge from a coma, induced by a brain ailment.
Pratyusha Banerjee: The actress became one of the most loved TV personalities after her lead role in a popular TV show. Pratyusha played the character of Anandi in the most loved show, Balika Vadhu. The shocking news of her sudden demise at the tender age of 24 left everyone in a state of shock. While she could certainly have reached the heights in the industry, she wasn’t able to do so.
