MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another piece of exciting insight from the world of entertainment.
Shashank Vyas became a household name with Jagya’s character on ‘Balika Vadhu’ and credits the show and TV for what he is today.
The actor made his Bollywood debut with "Laila Manju", but before his film hit the screen, the actor decided to take a quick break. He ventured onto spending some quality time surrounded by the mountains.
He traveled to the 'Dev Bhoomi' Himachal Pradesh and constantly treated his fans with some gorgeous views on his Instagram account. A self-confessed traveler, Shashank took off on a 12-day break, but extended his trip after the Maharashtra government announced a statewide lockdown.
After visiting the picturesque locations like Shimla, Dharmshala, Manali, Teerthan Valley and Bir Billing, he went to Rekong Peo, Chamba, Dalhousie, and the Spiti Valley.
He was also quoted as saying "I am an orophile and I have been dying to see the scenic beauty of Himachal, and there was no better time than now. It was a 12-day trip to begin with, but then I extended it after the lockdown in Maharashtra, and thought of visiting the rest of Himachal as well," he said.
The actor marked the ending of his adventurous trip with a beautiful post, 'Travelling for me, gives my thoughts a widened prespective. It is an eye opener to the fact that there is lot more in the world than my tini mini issues, so what if the wifi is slow or there is no network at all. Travelling gives a sense of realization that the world is not always about you. It demonstrates how other people live and what do they deal with in their daily life.
Traveling has humbled me and has broadened my perspective in so many ways. TRAVELLING to rural places or mountains and other remote areas has given me a sense of gratefulness for the modern-day comforts that I am able to enjoy.
Here my a month old HIMACHAL journey ends and I am back to MY BAY AND MY GOALS.
