MUMBAI: Abha Parmar is an integral part of Zee TV’s upcoming show Meet. In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Abha shared her experience shooting for the show.

Take a look:

How is your experience shooting with Meet?

This is my fourth show Shashi Sumeet Productions. The production house is like a family to me and I am very comfortable shooting with them. As for my role, I was doing a negative role in Yeh Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony TV. Even though she was a grey shade but everybody connected her. Here I play a grey shade. The stories are always very nice and the flavour of writing is different so I think that what I am getting will relate and connect to a lot of families, and I am having fun doing it, shifting from one shade to another. As for now, the responses coming from the ground team is good so I am hoping that the audience will like it too.

You’ve worked with Ashi Singh, Vaishnavi Macdonald and others previously too. So how do you feel working together again?

All three of us know each other and there is no difficulty in performing the craft. Vaishnavi is a very good friend and Ashi is like a daughter. There is a comfort zone so I hope our chemistry keeps getting better.

Did you relive the moments with Ashi and Vaishnavi from your show Yeh Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai?

Yes, we met and we started working. We used to sit and eat together. I used to bring food from home and for everyone, so this memory is started again. Back then we used to make videos and once the show starts we will upload it. There are a lot of memories. It like there was an interval and now it’s been resumed.

You’ve worked with very unique concept like Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai and Ishq Par Zor Nahi. What do you have to say that whatever shows come with different concept, it doesn’t work out on television. What do you think is the reason?

Yeh Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai was a simple story from 90’s but it worked and people connected it. As for Ishq Par Zor Nahi, it was a different concept. I feel that a show needs to be given time to connect with the audience.

You think show should be given a time to make audience?

Definitely! Because afterall I can say Ishq Par Zor Nahi didn’t work within 5 months and there came a decision to pull the plug on it. But people are showering love for the show and are infact even asking the makers for a season 2 or for that matter are even willing to shift to the OTT medium to watch the show.

Well said Abha! (Also Read:  EXCLUSIVE! Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame Abha Parmar bags Shashi Sumeet Mittal's next for ZEE TV )
