Sherlyn shows the reports to the family, Bani Dadi and Kareena fume with anger. They ask Preeta to leave the house for playing with their emotions. On the other hand, Rakhi maa takes a stand for Preeta and tells them that they were wrong in understanding her situation. She states that no matter what, she will stand for their children and support them in their decision.
In the upcoming episode, after Rakhi's firm decision, the family members try to understand Preeta and Karan's perspective and wait for the reports to come. Meanwhile, the bell rings and Karan heads to open the door, he sees Sonakshi. She mentions that she is here for Preeta, to take a stand for her.
