Balika Vadhu 2 on Colors is one of the most loved shows on television today. The show is back with a second installment by popular audience demand and while the first season focused on a Rajasthani backdrop of child marriage, this season focuses on a Gujarati background on the same subject. Well, sources inform us that popular Gujarati actress Ketki Dave, who has also featured in Hindi serials and Bollywood films has apparently been brought on board to play the role of Dadi in the show.

Ketaki Dave got immensely popular with Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Daksha Virani whereas Seema Mishra was hailed for her negative character in Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.Season 1 had begun way back in 2008 and went on for a good eight years. It was considered as one of the top shows on television. 

The show starred Avika Gor, late actress Pratyusha Banerjee, Toral Rasputra, Late actor Siddarth Shukla, Shashank Vyas, Sriti Jha, Anup Soni, Avinash Mukherjee, and late actress Surekha Sikri. 

The show stars Shreya Patel and Vansh Sayani in the lead roles.
