Shweta Tiwari turns producer

After winning the hearts of thousands with her acting, Shweta Tiwari is now turning a producer. After Smriti Irani, she is the second actress from the Balaji camp to turn producer. Shweta is launching a production house that will be producing shows for television and she also intends to produce films later on. When asked what kind of shows she will be producing, Shweta replied, “It will be a daily soap. The story will be heroine centric, something more like Kasauti Zindagi Kay where the story focused on the ups and downs of a woman’s life. I have hired a creative team and all of us are sitting together almost daily to discuss scripts. We have given narrations to a few channels but everything is at a very early stage.” Explaining her foray into production, she says, “Every actor wants to get into production after a point of time. I felt that this is the right time for me to start my own production house, so I went ahead with it.” So will we see you act in your home productions? She quipped, “May be, may be not. It depends on whether I manage to find time to act and if the channel wants me to act.” Here’s wishing Shweta all the best in her new venture.
