MUMBAI: After receiving great response, MX Player’s popular crime-drama Raktanchal will soon return with its second season. The series managed to keep viewers hooked with its storyline leaving the audience waiting for the next season.
Raktanchal is a series about the game of power, politics and war between two gangs. The show stars Nikitin Dheer, Kranti Prakash Jha, Soundarya Sharma, Ronjini Chakraborty, Chittaranjan Tripathy, Pramod Pathak, and Vikram Kochhar. (Also Read: Ashish Vidyarthi joins MX Player’s Raktanchal season 2)
We hear that makers have also roped Karan Patel for the series.
Also Bollywood actress Mahie Gill has been roped in to play an important character. Mahie’s claim to fame is in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, Paan Singh Tomar and web-series Apharan.
Well, according to the latest news hitting our newsdesk, Ambrish Srivastava will play a significant role in the series. He will be the left hand of Karan Patel and will be seen contributing into the crafting and development of the storyline.
Raktanchal is written by Sanjeev K Rajat, Sarvesh Upadhyay, and Shashak Rai and produced by Pradeep Gupta, Shashank Raai, Mahima Gupta under the banner of Pinaka Studios Pvt Ltd and Mahima Productions.
The story of the show Raktanchal is based on real-life rivalry between two gangs in Purvanchal. The show is set in the 80's and Waseem Khan and Vijay Singh are two mafias who are trying to conquer over the other’s area and ultimately over the entire Purvanchal.
