Now Sajid Khan to replace Shekhar Kapur in IGT2?

After all the will-he-won’t-he speculation about Shekhar Kapur continuing to judge the second season of India’s Got Talent, now the latest update is anchor-turned-director Sajid Khan will be stepping in the show. Our source says, “We always wanted to continue the same successful team, however unfortunately Sonali Bendre left the show. But Shekhar Kapur and Kirron Kher remained on board. Negotiations were on with Shekhar so we did not approach any celebrity from our side. In fact we were hoping that he will be part of the show. Now the channel has decided to rope in Sajid Khan as a second judge on the show, though the decision about Sonali’s replacement is still pending. Talks are still on with Sonam Kapoor.” We tried to get in touch with Khan and even texted him but he remained unavailable for comment. It is said that the channel was planning to do a chat show with Khan (the two had earlier collaborated on Sajid's Superstars) but they then decided to bring him in, in India’s Got Talent. The second round of auditions is taking place in Delhi.
