Here’s some breaking news from the sets of Life OK’s Amrit Manthan(Director’s Kut Productions). Yes, we have just learnt that Dimple Jhangiani has decided to quit the show. “I had told the production house last month itself that I wanted to move out,” said Dimple. However this lovely lady, who is planning a trip to London, was in a hurry hence she could not give the reason on her moving out. But from a previous conversation which we had with Dimple it appears that she was never happy with the way her character Nimrit was reintegrated into the narrative after they showed that Nimrit was dead in an attempt to raise sagging ratings. The creatives had then introduced Ankita Sharma and played a track where viewers were left confused as to who the real Nimrit was? Ankita or Dimple, who was given the additional character of Shivangi Singh as well. Finally it was revealed that Ankita was Nimrit. Sources says that Dimple was then unhappy with the fact that the creatives had taken a lot of time before her track was finally brought back. Dimple will next be seen in the Life OK cookery reality show, Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi ki with new groups of celebs. This Miditech produced show has been in the news more for the cat fights than the actual Nawaazi. PS-Later producer Rajan Shahi got in touch with us and said, "Dimple is a good actress. But as of now we feel that her character has been completely exhausted creatively. So we mutually decided that it is better she looks for better options elsewhere. Having said that Amrit Manthan is always about surprises, hence if tomorrow we find some thing interesting that we can craft around her character, we just might bring her back."
