Hello everyone, this is Sriti Jha, whom my valuable audience like you, know me as Ganga in Balika Vadhu on Colors.
Let me take the opportunity to brief you’ll something about me since I am here.
Since my childhood, I always dreamt to be an actor and had the passion of acting, but never thought that it will become my profession some day. To keep my passion going, I even joined the English Dramatics Society Delhi for honing my skills. In a way, I can say that, I am blessed with the talent of acting, since besides me no one from my family is inclined towards this art.
Not being modest, let me say that half of the credit of my success go to my writers and directors who have groomed and helped me every single moment so far in my career. It’s not only that, I have always been very obedient and honest person towards my work on television.
My work excites me more when any kind of challenge confronts me. May be that is the reason I am able to give my 100 per cent to every project I undertake. All the characters that I have played have emotionally attracted me so much that I behaved and sounded as one. Though I am a happy go lucky kind of girl, but slowly acting is getting into my nerves and it’s making me emotional.
I love being part of this cinematic career and will always stick to television because my passion lies here. Though I would also love to act in a film, I haven’t really given it a try.
To start with, switching off from the mood of character was difficult, but once I start understanding the character and get the feel of it, it becomes easy for me to come out of it.
In the beginning of my career, I used to get the character home, but now since I have grown a lot, I keep it aside from my real life.
All the characters that I have played on television have described me a bit, but not as much what Sudha in Jyoti and Sia in Saubhagyavati Bhava on did.
So, for now, this is all. Guys, hope to meet you soon with some more interesting and challenging project.
