MUMBAI: Actors are often in the limelight for good or bad publicity.
These days, netizens have been very vocal about their thoughts and often cross the line and become judgemental towards actors. Recently, Chavvi Mittal was targeted for the same. Recently, a user called her ‘regressive’ for wearing a nosepin. A user commented on her recently posted picture of wearing a nosepin and compared it to men’s fashion.

She posted the picture with the caption: Many ask me how I stay this happy and positive all the time. Biggest mantra... no regrets. Some deeds give me happiness, and some, experience.
A user took note of what Chhavi is wearing – a floral printed top with hair open, a nose pin and her big smile. In the next post, Chhavi shared a screenshot of the user’s comment, that read: "Why Chhavi is wearing a nosering, it looks regressive. Modern women should discard such regressive practice and set examples. They should promote modern thinking. Does men wear. Otherwise she is just fashionable."
Chhavi definitely didn’t let go of such a comment or rather the thought behind making such a comment. She befittingly replied, “Yes, I wear (and do) a lot of things men don't. I wear a BRA to start with, which men don't. I also wear my attitude on my sleeve (don't know, don't care if men do), I wear my confidence as my armour and humility as an ornament. And regressive, is not fashion and jewellery... regressive is this kind of thinking. Could somebody explain to me how the comparison to men was drawn for wearing a nosepin? #baffled #trollalert #stopjudging #judgement #trolling #trolls #troll.”
