A page from the personal diary of Ankita sharma Hello everyone, this is Ankita Sharma whom you know as Rajkumari Nimrit Kaur Sodhi Malik in Amrit Manthan on Life OK. I am here today to share something about me. Born and brought up in Delhi, I migrated to Mumbai in 2010 to feature in Sagar Pictures’ film Alha Udhal. Acting was pure co-incidence. It so happened that I had accompanied my friend for an audition and somebody asked me to give it a shot. And that is the shot that brought me here in Mumbai for acting in Alha Udhal that is yet to be released. For me, acting before camera was not difficult at all, since it is an inborn talent. The most precious moment of my life was when I first saw my picture in the hoarding of Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. I was stunned to see myself growing and people from my native place, as well as my friends, called me up and gave me their blessings. It feels nice when people notice your performance and appreciate your hard work. My best experience so far was with the cast of Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. We had all become like a family and treated everyone with respect and honour. My bidaai scene was like real; everybody actually got into their mood and was feeling very sad on my departure. I still remember that nobody used glycerin because they felt my bidaai to be real and pampered me a lot as everybody do it to their love ones. Once Barun Sobti and I had to visit a radio channel for the premiere of our show Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. So, Barun and I decided to go on his bike but on the way, the fuel tank drained out and we had to search for another option. With a lot of effort, we found a rickshaw and reached the radio station in time. That was a very awkward situation in our life and crazy as well, because people all around were staring at us and trying to figure out where they have seen us. After doing numerous shows, I now wish to do a role of a mentally retarded girl. I am passionate about dancing and singing. If not an actor, I would have been a choreographer.
