MUMBAI: Surbhi Chandna is one of the most loved actresses on television. She ruled the television screen with her performance as Anika in Ishqbaaz and was last seen as Dr. Ishani in Sanjeevani.
The actress is quite active on social media and keeps her fans updated about her whereabouts. She has a massive fan following.
She was last seen in the serial Naagin 5, where she essayed the role of a naagin, and the audiences applauded her acting chops.
The serial was a huge success and topped the TRP charts, and her chemistry with Sharaad and Mohit was loved by the audiences.
The audience did see in yesterday’s episode how the challengers entered the house and challenged the contestants to do tasks to reach the finale week. Only four contestants would reach the finale, whereas the rest would be nominated.

One of the challengers is Surbhi. TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about why she is entering the show as a challenger and her views on Devoleena and Abhijeet’s friendship.
What prompted you to come on the show as a challenger?
It was the beginning of the year and I wanted to work. That’s when the channel called me to enter the house as a challenger, and since I love the team and the production house, I said yes.
This season has failed and all the contestants are doing nothing on the show, and it was high time that they had to be woken up. Hence, we had to give the last push to them to make the show interesting in the last two weeks.
What are your thoughts about Karan and Tejasswi’s game and whom are you supporting?
Well, I do like the game of Shamita. She is playing the game very well and she is better off without any support. As far as Karan and Tejasswi is concerned, in the beginning they were doing really well, but once this love angle cropped up, the game went flat.
This is a wrong move. When you’re in a game, the focus should be winning it rather than on love. That can also be handled, but you should be playing the game and shouldn’t forget your goal. But now, they seem to be bouncing back in the show as only two weeks are left.
What do you have to say about Abhijeet and Devoleena’s friendship?
To be honest, I like Abhijeet. He is quite entertaining except for the rubbish he speaks at times and he should draw the line. As far as Devoleena and Abhijeet are concerned, I find their friendship very cute. For example, take the time when he told her to wash her clothes. Though she was hesitant in the beginning she did wash his clothes and that was cute banter between them. But yes, she should be careful as in the past also, remarks have been made on her.
Well, no doubt that the contestants were not doing much on the show, and hence, the makers had to call the challengers into the house to pep the show up a bit.
