Aasma’s antics irks co-contestants

Aasma,Rafi, the international contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 , may have won the hearts of viewers with her sense of humour but she is least popular with her colleagues Recently, Aasma made news, not for her singing, but for disclosing her personal problems. Aasma stated how her father divorced her mother because she didn’t approve her daughter taking to singing. While such stories must have melted viewer’s hearts, Aasma’s colleague were clearly unimpressed by her antics. In today’s episode co-contestants take a dig at Aasma calling her undeserving and manipulative. According to them, Aasma is an extremely poor singer and has managed to reach the top-ten only because of flaunting her ‘innocence and stupidity’ while in reality, she doesn’t qualify to be even in top twenty. Aasma should realise that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is a music competition for dedicated singers and not for someone who aspires to be a comedian. She doesn’t seem to be concerned about the fact that her parents have undergone a divorce because of her whims to be a singer and in her religion; life is very difficult for a divorcee (her Mom). Aasma has made publicity out of telling her sad family story in the last episode and if she really loves her Mom, she should quit singing as she anyway is no good at it.
