MUMBAI: On the successful completion of historical television show, ‘Punyashlok Ahilya Bai’ actress Bhagyashree Nhalve, shared her experience about being on the show, her co-actors, and the lockdown-like situation due to growing COVID-19 cases.

Talking about the one-year completion of Punyashlok Ahilya Bhai, Bhagyashree shared, "I am blessed that the show is being loved so much by the viewers. As actors and our entire team, we strive really hard to present things in the best interest of the audience and make them entertaining as well as educate them.

With such great co-actors and crew, time just flew by. We celebrated this occasion by cutting cakes, recording videos, and having a gala time on the set."

Bhagyashree Nhalve plays the role of Malhar Rao Holkar's (Rajesh Shringarpure) third wife, Bana bai, and sharing her experience about working with him, she said, "He's a very good actor and a good person. He makes everyone around feel very comfortable."

Bhagyashree plays the role of Malhar Rao's third wife, Bana Bai, who's got this comical touch. And, everyone loves to be around her. Bana Bai is shown as someone who's dumb but has got a very pure heart.

Talking about Lockdown in Mumbai, Bhagyashree said, "This news comes as a respite but we all have to be extra cautious and follow all the protocols because not everybody has the option to work from home. Actors and many other jobs require people to be physically present and that puts them at risk.”

“People started to take the situation very lightly and stopped wearing masks. Earlier, they were scared but now they aren't. I just want that nobody's work should be hampered because that's their only source of bread and butter. We will have to learn to live with this virus," she added.
