MUMBAI: Actress Kritika Kamra in this exclusive fun interview with Tellychakkar.com, talks about her upcoming show Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. The actress also sportingly answers some of the questions like the first time she saw herself in the hoardings, her first ever fan moment, and the bizarre news she heard about herself.
When was the first time you saw yourself on a hoarding?
The first time I saw myself on the hoardings was for the show Kitani Mohhabat Hai. I remembered it was not one hoarding but many hoardings all over Mumbai. I got very excited to see that and I went driving around the whole city to spot these hoardings. I was so happy that I even clicked pictures with the hoardings. The first time when you see yourself on hoarding is definitely special to anyone.
Your first ever fan moment.
I had many fan moments over the years being in Mumbai. I have met a lot of people whom I admire a lot. But the one I clearly remembered was, at a party where I was there and Mr Shah Rukh Khan was also present. I was asked to have a candid conversation with him which was not scripted. I made a big a** of myself but that doesn’t matter because I got to meet Shah Rukh Khan and speak with him. He was graceful as ever.
One bizarre news you heard about yourself?
I have read some bizarre link-up news about myself which I think happens to all the actors. There was a photoshop picture of me that when viral on the internet and had some bizarre speculation about me which really shocked me. Misusing somebody’s picture, according to me is a crime.
The time when somebody complimented you?
Just two days back, our director Gauravv K Chawla sent me a screenshot of an article that had this paragraph about what Naseeruddin Shah sir had to say about each one of us. For me, he said I have sunny smiles that you look at it twice. And I am terrifically confident and I was able to play an introvert as well as an extrovert character in Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. It was very special for me; I sent that screenshot to my parents. That screenshot is archived for life.
