EXCLUSIVE! ‘I was very nervous about the make-out scene': Shrenu Parikh OPENS UP about the CHALLENGES she faced while shooting f

MUMBAI: Actress Shrenu Parikh in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com talks about her upcoming web series Damaged 3. She speaks about the response to the trailer, what made her say yes to the project, and the challenges she faced while shooting for the show.

Tell us about the response who have been getting for the Damaged 3 trailer?

I loved the audience's reaction to the trailer of Damaged 3. I have not seen the rashes or even how my shots have come out. But When I saw the trailer, I was shocked to see how beautifully the trailer has been cut. It is well received by the people. The buzz is great. I am really happy and blessed how the trailer of Damaged 3 has opened up.

What made you say yes to the show?

I really wanted the role when it was narrated to me. So when the preparation began, I felt there is so much scope to improve in myself as an actor and dish out something that my fans have ever seen. She further adds, there are so many actors who want to play safe, and they know that it is a tried and tested part and it will always work for them. But for me, I do not take those parts, I like to take risks, sometimes it pays back and sometimes not. So, Damaged 3 was that risk that I took and I think this time it has worked wonders for me. My fans have been waiting for my comeback, so this is my debut in OTT, and I think it will be a treat for all my fans.

Tell us the challenge you faced while playing your character?

I tried to learn all those little things that a journalist will do on-field. There is one scene in the show where I have to interview Aamna Sharif, but due to nervousness, I run out of the shoot. The funniest bit was when my mother saw the trailer and told me that she is done with me after seeing my smoking scene. I was very nervous about the make-out scene but that is what I always wanted to do to get out of my comfort zone. I wanted to do something that could challenge me as an actor. Which I have not done in my life. So that was the two things that were challenging for me.
