MUMBAI: Rashami Desai entered as a wild card contestant and during her stay she developed a bond with Umar Riaz. They also met after coming out of the house. However, they have also maintained that they are just friends.
About Manpreet Kaur, she won the fourth edition of Love School along with Sunny Cheema. Recently, Rashami Desai’s fans started bombarding the Love School 4 fame Manpreet Kaur with derogatory and offensive messages.
In each of Manpreet’s social media posts, several trolls (calling themselves Rashami’s supporters) have targeted her owing to her friendship and bond with Umar. Many have commented saying that Umar is not getting into a relationship with Rashami because of Manpreet.
An agitated Manpreet told ETimes TV, “I don’t even know Rashami so well. Umar has been a close friend before entering Bigg Boss. We all know that he’s a great human being and he has always being there was me whenever I needed him or was sick. He’s one of the doctors I trust my life with and for this reason I don’t know why her fans are bashing me and shaming me. This harassment is now going above my head, messages, comments and what not! I’m wondering why and who is spreading these rumours and letting the fandom degrade me.”
She feels Rashami’s fans are trying to bash Umar as well when he said that “Rashmi is a friend”.
She also added, “When Rashami entered BB15 as a guest initially, she wasn’t a supporter of Umar, and all of sudden she started supporting him when she entered as a contestant.”
