MUMBAI: Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Vishal Singh worked together in Saath Nibhana Saathiya. While the former played the lead Gopi, the latter essayed the role of her brother-in-law, Jigar.

Bigg Boss 15's Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Vishal Singh shocked as well surprised fans when they announced their engagement last night. She shared pictures flaunting a huge engagement ring followed by photos of the proposal. For all those who’re unaware, Devoleena and Vishal shared several adorable pictures and videos from their proposal moment on her Instagram handle. The latter captioned the pictures as “It’s official Love you @devoleena.”
However, they later revealed that the whole situation was made up for promoting their upcoming song.
They also shared a video giving a glimpse of the proposal while asking them to join them in for a live session. They wrote, “We would like to share a very special news with all our fans and loved once . see you guys on Instagram live tonight at 9pm.”
Fans of the actors and several celebrities from the entertainment industry started congratulating them. But little did they know about what was coming next. Devoleena and Vishal hosted a live Instagram session for their fans. During the session, both the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actors revealed that their pictures and videos were just a promotional stunt for their upcoming music video. Sharing that they are not engaged, they spoke about their new song.
This scenario made fans realise that Devoleena and Vishal’s engagement was just a promotional gimmick.
Devoleena also shared a series of cute pictures with Vishal later with a sweet note. It read “True friends are the ones who lift you up,when no one else has noticed you’ve fallen.
