MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle where he revealed the characters played by the actors in his much-awaited film Prithviraj. The teaser of the film was launched last year. The film has been the talk of the town from the time the teaser was out. Now, Akshay Kumar shared a series of posts on his social media account revealing the characters of his film Prithviraj.

Taking to his social media handle, Akshay Kumar shared a post in which Sonu Sood’s character was revealed. Sonu Sood will be playing the character of Chand Vardai in the film. He captioned the post as "बुद्धि में बुध, नीति में बृहस्पति, काव्य में कालिदास ऐसे महाकवि चंद वरदाई को प्रणाम! Daring, perceptive, and wise, he was Chand Vardai. Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan arriving in cinemas on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."
He then shared a post, in which Sanjay Dutt’s character was revealed. Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the character of Kaka Kanha. It will be interesting to see what Sanjay’s character will be like in the film. Akshay captioned the post as, "वीरता में भीम, रणभूमि में नरसिंह ऐसे सम्राट पृथ्वीराज के काका और सामंत, काका कन्ह की विजय होI Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s trusted saamant - Kaka Kanha."
Manushi Chhillar will be making her Bollywood debut with Prithviraj. The actress will be seen in the lead role opposite Akshay Kumar. Taking to his account, Akshay Kumar captioned the post as "प्रण में अड़िग, प्रेम में पावन ऐसी राजकुमारी संयोगिता, भारत का गौरव है! Princess Sanyogita weaved a tale of true love & compassion. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."
The actor also revealed his character’s look, which is of Prithviraj in the film. He captioned it as "पराक्रम में अर्जुन, प्रतिज्ञा में भीष्म, ऐसे महान सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान की भूमिका करने का सौभाग्य जीवन मे कभी कभी मिलता है."
Prithviraj is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historical action drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan a king from the Chahamana dynasty. The film will be released on 10th June 2022.
