Imtiaz Ali hits the floor for his next biggie Highway

With the resounding success of Rockstar still in his mind, director Imtiaz Ali has already started working on his next titled Highway. Going by his past films, love stories and musicals seems to be the forte of this director and Highway seems to be no different. The film is a love story about two very different people who get attracted to each other as the story moves forward. The romantic drama is surely going to be a musical journey. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Imtiaz has already hit the floors and the entire crew is quiet enthusiastic about the film. It is said that the movie is entirely Imtiaz's brainchild and is very close to him. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles and is going to be shot on real locations across different parts of North India. Lyricist Irshad Kamil has been roped in to compose for Highway and for a musical treat in the offing, Imtiaz has teamed up again with A R Rahman.
