MUMBAI: Gehraiyaan has been the most talked about film in recent times. The teaser had been getting a positive response from film critics and moviegoers. But after its release, it has received a mixed response.
Recently, TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with the Dhairya Karwa, where he talked about the film, the response he has been getting from his fans, and a wish that he believes will come true very soon.
On the response he has been getting for the film, he said, "My phone has been flooded with messages and with so many nice words. I was in two minds where these messages were really for me or for someone else. My day started with chatting with all my friends, who were eagerly waiting from midnight for the film to go live on Amazon. I don’t know, but deep down in my heart I feel that it is the hardest thing to please my friends. For me, it is like if they are happy, I feel gratifying and satisfied."
Dhairya then said the response from the audience has also been amazing. "Well, right now I don’t have too many fans, but the audiences who know me as an actor are really liking my work in the film," he said.
He was then asked about one wish he wants to fulfill. Dhairya was very quick to answer it. He said he wishes to work with Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi one more time.
On the work front, Dhairya Karwa is known for playing the role of Captain Sartaj Singh Chandhok in the film URI: The Surgical Strike. The film had Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role. Later, he also appeared in the movie 83, where he shared the screen with Ranveer Singh. 83 was directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala.
