Exclusive! Ali Merchant to be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Upp

MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail and they would have to play the game and fight for getting bail to survive on the show. 

Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show as the host where she will be guiding the contestants. 

Poonam Pandey, Ishaan Seghal, Miesha Iyer, Pratik Sehjapal, and Shehnaaz Gill are possible contestants. 

As per sources, television actor Ali Merchant has been approached to be a part of the show.

Ali is a well-known personality and has done many television shows. The actor had grabbed the headlines for his separation from Sara Khan. 

There is news doing the rounds that Sara too will be seen on the show, though there is no confirmation on the same. This will be the first time that the two will be appearing on a show if the news about Sara is true.

The show is considered to be on the lines of Bigg Boss and will be streaming from 28 February 2022 on MX Player and AltBalaji.
