MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail and they would have to play the game and fight for getting bail to survive on the show.
Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show as the host where she will be guiding the contestants
Ishaan Seghal, Miesha Iyer, Pratik Sehjapal, and Shehnaaz Gill are possible contestants.
Poonam Pandey is one of the most controversial personalities in Bollywood. The actress is known for explicit videos on social media, where she has made a name for herself.
Soon, she will be seen in the reality show Lock Upp.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about her expectation from the show and how she reacts to trolls and negativity around.
This is the first season of the show. What expectations do you have from it?
I have zero expectations from the show as it’s a reality show and the first of its kind in India with a brand new concept. I am going in with zero strategies. It was a wonderful offer that I couldn’t resist it. I will create drama and would do the tasks and would do everything in my power to be in the show and reach the end.
Will the audience get to see the real Poonam Pandey in the show?
There will be cameras around me all the time, and my fans would get to see me 24 × 7. Everyone would know about me. People have known me only through my headlines and movies and they really don’t know me well. Through this show they would get to know the real me. I have gone through a lot and have been in a very bad phase. I am glad that I could come out from such a situation. I will speak about it on the show.
With the kind of personality are you? There are news that could be a rumour. Do you believe in clarifying it or do you just let it go?
I hate giving clarifications. After the World Cup drama, I used to not give it any attention since I was young and very naive, but now it hurts me and bothers me a lot. I used to sit and cry and I was very sensitive. People want to see the real me, and they are talking about being locked up in the game but they don’t know I was locked up in my own house for days. It’s tough to remember those days so this shouldn’t be that tough for me. As I said I would play the game well and would try and reach the finale of the show.
Well, no doubt that Poonam Pandey will be an interesting contestant on the show, and she will create a lot of drama, which will be one of the USPs.
