Kishwer Merchantt on her role in Sahara One's Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna

Tall and slim Kishwer Merchantt, who has impressed everyone with her evil vampire look in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and was also last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Hongey Judaa Na Hum, is again back in a negative avatar in Sahara One’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. To get in further detail we got in touch with Kishwer and asked her about her role on which she replied, “Yes, I am doing Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. The show is going to be revamped and I will be seen in a negative avatar as Mohini, wife of Imran Khan. Imran and I will be seen as uncle and aunt of Aksshat Gupta. I will be a greedy lady who is after money and wants property.” Why a negative character again? “Well, frankly speaking after Hongey Judaa Na Hum I got the first call from Creative Eye for Mohini’s role and I think my fans love to see me in negative shades. Obviously I want to try something different but I don’t know why I always end up getting offers for a negative role.” What are your expectations from this show? “Well, expectations are high and I hope people like me in my new avatar. Also, I am glad that I have got opportunity to work with Sahara One. As an actor, the popularity of the channel doesn’t matter to me.” Here’s wishing Kishwer all the very best!!!
