TV actors and their favourite Holi songs

The fun-n-frolic of Holi is incomplete without groovy popular Bollywood Holi songs. Over the years, Bollywood has been successful in capturing all diverse moods of Holi. There are many great hit numbers in various movies which lend a special touch to the festival. But which Holi songs do our TV actors like to play and dance on? On this auspicious occasion we called up a few TV actors and asked them about their favourite Holi songs… Beautiful Kratika Sengar, who is currently seen in Punar Vivah said, “My favourite Holi song is holi khele raghuveera from the film Baghban. It is one of the best Holi songs of Bollywood. Lyrics are full of masti, excitement and joyous mood.” Blue-eyed boy Nakuul Mehta, who is seen as Aditya from Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard… shared, “It has to be Rang Barse. It is one of the most played songs during Holi festival.” Talented Aakanksha Singh aka Megha from Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha stated, “I like more of old songs namely Holi Ke Din Dil Khil Jaate Hain.. Rang Barse and I also like Des Rangila from the film Fanna. I especially like the last para which says Abiir gulaal se chehre hain yahaan muskaanon ki toil… Rang haseen mein rang khushi mein rishte jaise holi… Vaadon mein rang yaadon mein rang rang rang rangila… Des rangila rangila des mera rangila.” “If anyone asks your favourite song the only one song which comes in your mind is Rang Barse. It is the best Holi song.” averred handsome hunk Gautam Rode. Cute and chirpy Niaa Sharma observed, “Well my favourite is Let’s Play Holi from the film Waqt. The song is quite catchy and especially the chorus. It is the modern day Holi song which adds a lot of fun to this colorful festival. Lastly, Shakti Arora added, “I like Rang Barse song a lot.
