Hitler Didi
Since it came on air, Zee TV’s Hitler Didi (Trilogy Krikos) has always been in trouble; it has never got great ratings from day one. Then there arose troubles over payments which led to certain actors quitting the show. Later, the show took a leap but even then the numbers never came in. Hence, in a desperate attempt to lift the ratings, the creatives completely changed the story, got new characters (Zara Malik Khan as Indu {double role} and Indu Rishi Kumar), but to no avail. Recently they also introduced a Pakistani element with Rohit Roy and Neha Talwar. But when the track did not get any appreciation, it was pulled out in a huff. According to our source, the concerned actors were given a complete different narration than what eventually came on screen. Hence they quit. Now we hear that the channel has had enough and may finally take the show off around IPL. However when we spoke to producer Ila Bedi she rubbished the news of Hitler Didi going off air by saying, “We have got an extension of two years. My junior Hitler is growing up. I don’t know who is spreading such false news. Is this an attempt to needle the producer?” When we contacted the lead actor Sumit Vats about this affair, he seemed clueless about it.
