MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya has been a long-running hit show, and the reasons are obvious to the viewers. The show appeals to those who believe that opposites attract, as well as those who believe in the mantle of fate and that if fate brings two people together, they will stay in each other's lives regardless of what fate entails.

Pooja Banerjee, who played Rhea Mehra in Kumkum Bhagya, is one of the most well-known actresses in the industry. The actress openly discussed her pregnancy and stated that she will not let her work suffer as a result of her pregnancy. The actress, who looked absolutely stunning at her baby shower, has been shooting back-to-back episodes for her show and has not let the producers down because she is an indispensable part of the show 'Kumkum Bhagya’.
TellyChakkar previously reported that Pooja is going on maternity leave and took to Instagram to share a few farewells and thank you posts on her Instagram.
When asked if she and her husband Sandeep Sejwal talk about having a boy or a girl, Pooja said, “We keep thinking how are we going to be as parents.” Pooja also spoke about the toughest two years she faced after her accident that happened on Nach Baliye sets and how she managed to overcome it to start her pregnancy journey.
People say that women have mood swings during pregnancy, but trust me it’s not mood swings. Everyday when I wake up I look different, feel different and that’s the only reason that people term it as mood swings. There’s no such thing as mood swings I will say at least for me. I am not becoming a flag bearer for everyone else. Couple of my very close friends who are also expecting and I see that their pregnancy journey is very different. I feel each body, each pregnancy is different.”
“Everyone says you should be glowing, there should be a glow on your face, everyone is pampering you and you should be happy but not everyone goes through it. I stayed alone for the first 3 months. First trimester I was completely alone. There was nobody with me at my home. So I did not get pampered so much of attention or people taking care of me. So there are days when you want to give up or you are genuinely sad or feel like crying. I don’t want to use the word but there are days when you want to say I want to quit,” she added.
