People have been in awe of her performance as Nandini Kapoor, playing the role of the evil stepmother with a twist. Shubhavi Choksey's Nandini Kapoor is setting a different path for herself together. She is changing the way the negative characters are usually portrayed, especially the stepmother who turns into an evil mother-in-law.
In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Shubhavi spoke about her comeback to acting with Kasauti Zindagi Ki and the Shashank Khaitan film 'Dhadak'. She said, ' It was spontaneous and I did think about it a lot because I am a bit of an overthinker. So, when Shashank Khaitan, who is a dear friend of ours, called me asking if I would do the film, I said sure but I had asked him how many days of the shoot would it be, because my son Arhaan was still young and I would have to leave him and go. He has a whole schedule, so I was kind of worried. He said it was just a matter of days and I would be free very quickly. But I remember very clearly when I went on the set of Dhadak and the moment the camera rolled, I was just transported. I was like a tiger who had tasted blood because I realized I had come back to the thing I love the most, which is acting. I love the lights, camera, action part. It was a conscious decision to not work but once I did Dhadak and when the opportunity came to me for 'Kasauti', I couldn't stop.'
Shubhavi currently plays the role of Nandini Kapoor in Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2 on Sony TV, produced by Balaji.
