What is your idea of love and do you believe in the institution of marriage?

For me, love is a feeling that is very pure. This is one such feeling where we don’t expect anything from that person. We want to give that person all the happiness and have a sense of attachment. We are ready to do anything for that person. Love is a feeling which is indescribable. I do believe in love.

Yes, I believe in marriage. It is the second phase in every person’s life. A person gets a sense of responsibility after getting married. Two souls unite forever and spend their entire life together. I haven’t experienced this phase yet.

Any memories from the early days of your career when you used to audition before bagging your debut show? How did you bag your first show?

I have a lot of memories from the early days of my career. I have given a lot of auditions. When I came to Mumbai, I didn’t know that I have to give auditions. One has to also take make-up along. I had no idea about it. I got to know that some audition is happening through a friend and I went for it. I didn’t know how to do make-up. I only wore eyeliner and lip gloss. When I went there, I noticed the girls who were properly ready with make-up. Then I learned all of it. I didn’t have much knowledge about the production houses and where to go for auditions.

I used to see a lot of pamphlets stuck on the walls for various ads and short films. I also tried to contact them for work but mostly, things didn’t work out as many were fake.

Then I came to know that I need to be very fit health-wise to fit into any character. I was very fat when I came to Mumbai. I took care of my fitness.

I did a show Mahabharat. Then one of my friends told me about an audition. I gave that audition and they liked my look. That’s how my journey started. But I still have a long way to go.

What kind of roles are you looking forward to in your future projects?

My dream role is to play a police inspector or an army officer. I would love to play a lady Dabangg on-screen. I hope I am offered this kind of a character as I am eagerly waiting to see myself playing this role. My father is an army officer, so I have observed him over the years. It inspires me a lot. I really love seeing him in the army uniform. I want to live such a character.
