MUMBAI: Kapil Sharma started his career as a comedian in 2007 after he took part in the Laughter Challenge. He also participated in Comedy Circus and hosted Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He started Comedy Nights with Kapil in 2013 and then in 2016, he came up with The Kapil Sharma Show. He got married to Ginni Chatrath in 2018, and they are parents to two children, Trishaan and Anayra.

On April 2, social media started flooding with pictures and videos from the celebration party of Kapil Sharma's 41st birthday, where the comedian was seen singing and dancing. He was seen in a black shirt and matching pants, with a grey blazer. Ginni, too, opted for a black dress and Anayra was wearing a black dress with white frills. Near the entry to the event, a neon sign was put up that read 'Happy Birthday Kapil Sir'. A 2-tier white cake was ordered, and it was decorated with musical notes.
Several celebrities and artists attended the party. Singer Teji Bajwa took to his Instagram handle, wished Kapil, and said how grateful he was to perform for the comedian on his birthday. He specially thanked Jassi Jasbir and Yasir Hussain for 'lightening up the night'.
Actors from the Bollywood and Television industries wished Kapil in their own manner. Akshay Kumar, Archana Pooran Singh, and Suniel Shetty were some of the celebs who gave their best wishes to Kapil.
Akshay Kumar tweeted with their picture, "I hope iss saal tere Lokhandwala hi nahi Bandra mein bhi bahot saare ghar ho (I hope this year you have a hoke not only in Lokhandwala but several in Bandra). Always wishing you the best in life brother, Happy birthday @Kapilsharma."
Actor Archana Pooran Singh also shared several images of the two and wrote, "H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y @kapilsharma You hold a special place in everyone's heart Kapil. And more so in mine Because who else would annoy and endear, tease and please, taana-maaro and maafi-maango ... all in a single minute...... except YOU May this day and all days to come bring you as much (and more) joy and happiness as you bring to the world around you! God bless."
Suniel Shetty uploaded a picture of themselves and wrote, "Happy happy birthday Kapil Paa!! You are undoubtedly the best in what you do! God bless! @ Kapilsharma."
