According to an Etimes article, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to marry on April 17 at the Kapoors' house. The reason behind their hurried wedding was also disclosed. It is because Alia Bhatt's grandfather wishes for her to marry. "N Razdan, Alia's grandpa, wished to witness her marriage to Ranbir. A private wedding on April 17th has so been arranged, which will be a close-knit family affair. The event will take place at RK Studios, and nothing extraordinary is planned as of yet "The portal was informed by the source.
Alia Bhatt's maternal grandpa, 93, is presently stated to be in a critical condition. Randhir Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor's uncle, has, on the other hand, denied that any wedding took place in the Kapoor house. He stated that he is not aware of anything at this time.
