MUMBAI: After showcasing his vibrant personality in reality shows like Bigg Boss 18, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Laughter Chefs 2, actor Abhishek Kumar is all set to entertain the audiences with his acting chops in Dremiyata Drama's project Tu Aashiki Haii.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar.com, Abhishek Kumar expressed his excitement on returning to the acting genre after being on a reality show spree. He added that he always wanted to act and is glad that his acting prowess is utilized in Tu Aashiki Haii.
Apart from Abhishek and Amandeep, the project also features Sheezan Khan in a powerful role. When asked about Abhishek's bond with Sheezan, Kumar revealed an unknown secret. He mentioned that he is closer to Sheezan's sister Falaq Naaz.
Abhishek said, "I have a better bond with Sheezan's sister Falaq Naaz. It was her who motivated me to return to Mumbai. Very few people know about this. After my sister's wedding, I went back to my hometown and I didn't trust that I'll be able to make a mark in acting. However, Falaq believed in me and motivated me to return to Mumbai."
He said, "When I returned to Mumbai, I used to visit Falaq's house. I developed a bond with Falaq and her mother, I also used to play with their dog. Bond with Sheezan developed only later when we met each other while working out in the same gym. He is a great guy. We haven't shot with each other a lot, but it was fun."
