Exclusive! Fanaa Ishq Mein Marjawan 3 fame Akshit Sukhija opens up on his wishlist and more

MUMBAI: Owing to its intriguing and gripping plot, Colors TV's new serial Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawan, which was launched just a few months ago, is gaining a lot of attention. Zain Imam and Reem Shaikh play the lead roles of Agasthaya and Paakhi, respectively, while Akshit Sukhija plays Paakhi's love interest, Ishaan. The show is based on the lines of the movie Darr. However, the entire concept hasn't been taken from the movie. Fanaa is produced by Gul Khan under the banner of 4 Lions Production.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, Akshit Sukhija aka Dr Ishaan Tandon spoke about his wishlist and more.

What is on your wishlist?

Well, as of now, I am focusing on buying a luxury car and a dream house for myself.

What kind of roles would you love to perform in the near future?

I wouldn’t mind playing a grey role, as I haven’t explored that as of now. I would love to play a role similar to Khilji from Padmaavat, Shah Rukh Khan’s character from Don, or Elijah Mikaelson's character from The Original. I know I will have to put in a lot of hard work, but I am pretty sure that I will be able to do justice.

Any dream director you would like to team up with?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the names from this industry I would love to work with. I have heard many things about him. I have heard that you need to devote yourself to him and he will become the biggest teacher for your career and extract the best from you.
