MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is gearing up for some major twists and turns.

In the previous episode, Rudraksh takes the blame upon himself saying, that he was present on the terrace that night and Dev slipped and fell off the terrace.
Revati falls for the story but targets Rudraksh anyway by saying that he is responsible for Dev’s death.
Rudraksh argues with her that it was an accident and not a murder.
Here, a constable comes with the post-mortem reports of Dev’s body and informs Revati that Dev was strangled to death.
This surprises everyone in the room as they all thought that Dev died because he fell off the terrace.
Revati is shocked and leaves to meet the doctor.
The doctor informs Revati that there are marks on Dev’s head which indicate a fall, but didn’t die because of the same.
The doctor adds that though it was a serious injury he could have survived if he was to be hospitalized.
The doctor will point out that Dev was strangled and that is how he died and shows her the marks on his neck.
Revati is shocked as she recollects what Rudraksh told her earlier about Dev slipping and falling.
Revati tells the doctor to find out the culprit through the finger prints on Dev’s body.
She gets angry and goes back to Rudraksh. She tells Rudraksh that she has enough clues to hold Rudraksh as a suspect and take him into custody.
Preesha gets angry at Revati saying that she has no proof against Rudraksh. Revati questions Preesha if she has any proof that Rudraksh is innocent.
Preesha doesn’t say anything and so Revati tells Rudraksh that he will now be taken under custody as he is the prime suspect.

In the upcoming episode, Revati tells Rudraksh that he is the one who killed her son, Dev.
Rudraksh and Preesha deny it saying that it wasn’t them who killed and even the reports say that because the button she found as evidence doesn’t belong to Rudraksh’s shirt or coat.
Revati is still firm on her allegation saying that she won't trust their statement. She suspects that the button could have been burned just like the coat.
Preesha tells her that she doesn’t really have proof against Rudraksh.
The doctor comes in with the fingerprint reports and tells Revati that they could not find whose fingerprints are on that body since the body was brought in very late.
He informs that if the body would have been brought to the hospital right after his death, then they could have identified the fingerprints. But right now, it’s impossible.
Revati feels upset and Preesha tells her that this means Rudraksh did not kill Dev as there’s no proof of Rudraksh’s fingerprint.
Revati lashes out at Preesha saying that it doesn’t matter because she knows very well that it was Rudraksh who killed Dev and therefore he has to be in jail.
The constables take Rudraksh while the family tries to stop him.
Preesha will be standing alone, thinking that now it’s her responsibility to collect evidence and find out who the killer actually is.
